Transform your child's love for technology and video games into an exciting learning adventure! Code Ninjas camps offer an engaging and fun environment for children to learn coding, build problem-solving and critical thinking skills, gain confidence, and have a blast with friends!
From coding in Minecraft and Roblox to Robotics, building a website and learning Python - your kids will not be bored this summer! In-center camps start as early as June 5th. Kids are encouraged to sign up for multiple camps so they can explore different concepts. Several options are available! Use the handy schedule below to plan which camps you want to book

CAMPS FOR AGES 5-7
Created for our youngest Ninjas, this camp builds a foundation of basic coding concepts through coding games such as hide-and-seek, a simple clicker game, and a maze. They will have a blast remixing games into their very own creations while learning how to create backgrounds, characters, and more!

Created for our youngest Ninjas, this camp is all about becoming a maker with STEM while designing and building hands-on projects! Electric playdough, marble machines, and tall towers are just a few of the fun projects kids will tackle as they develop their engineering and design skills.

Created for our youngest Ninjas, this camp introduces the magical world of physical computing and storytelling with a microcontroller called micro:bit. JR Ninjas will learn how sensors and electronics can make household items, such as playdough, cardboard, and aluminum foil come to life! JR Ninjas will leave camp with an introductory understanding of circuitry, sensors and how they interact with programming fundamentals.

CAMPS FOR AGES 8-13
In this hands-on, fully guided experience, Ninjas will learn the basics of game building and creative development in Roblox, an exciting, online gaming platform. Ninjas will spend their time building and exploring new worlds in Roblox before sharing their creations locally and globally. This camp will teach Ninjas how to plan, design, and build their own 3D world to create much more than just a game!

Ninjas will explore 3D modeling and printing using Tinkercad. They will code their own custom models, including working bubble wands, keychains, and more! Along the way, they will learn tips, techniques, and best practices for exciting explorations in 3D modeling and printing.

Ninjas will work together to create and customize a shared YouTube channel, including the design of unique channel art, profile pictures, and video thumbnails. They will also be guided through how to record, edit, and upload videos. Throughout camp, Ninjas will analyze popular YouTube videos and learn about copyrights and fair use to give them what it takes to become a YouTuber!

Developed for experienced Minecraft® players, this camp teaches Ninjas how to make unique mods (modifications that change the game)! They will create their own custom tools, weapons, armor, enemies, and more! By the end of the camp, Ninjas will be able to export their mods for friends and family to explore at home using Minecraft® Java Edition.

Throughout this camp, Ninjas will make silly dancing robots, a working safe with password detection, a racing rhino, and more! Using the LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime robotics kit, Ninjas will learn the fundamentals of how to design, build, and code robots. They will also apply their new knowledge of sensors, motors, and coding as they construct their own creations.

Ninjas will use code to control a robot in Minecraft Education Edition®. Through simple programming, they'll apply complex computer science concepts to automate the boring parts of Minecraft® such as farming, digging and more. Ninjas will use concepts like loops and functions to code crazy things like spawning hundreds of chickens from the sky! They will have a blast sharing their work and playing in a world together with their fellow campers.

Ninjas will experiment with video production through a variety of mediums including Claymation, LEGO® Minifigures, paper cutouts, and more! Capturing images frame-by-frame, they will produce videos in a rapid prototyping style. Ninjas will work on various shorts including magic trick illusions, a 3-part story, walking character animations, and more! They will work independently on their videos and collaborate in teams during the entire design process.

CAMPS FOR AGES 10-13
Ninjas will learn about creative website development by building their own website and fan page. As Ninjas work on various project prompts, they will gain a foundational understanding of HTML and CSS. Using these essential computing languages, Ninjas will publish websites and share links to showcase what they've learned.

Experienced Roblox game builders will take their skills to the next level in this camp as they learn coding fundamentals and dig deeper into the game-making side of Roblox. Using Lua programming language Ninjas will create their own timed, sudden-death Roblox game along with an interactive obstacle course. By the end of camp, Ninjas will showcase their game, play their peers’ games, and publish their creation to the Roblox world. (Intro to Roblox Development camp or similar Roblox experience required.)

Robotics adventures await! Join us for a camp full of creativity, fun and collaboration as we introduce your ninja to the worlds of engineering and computer programming using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime set and Python Programming Language.

In-Center Camps
Code Ninjas in-center camps are great for beginners and experienced kids ages 5-13 with a mix of on-screen and off-screen learning and fun! Our in-center summer camps run week-long from Monday - Friday; choose from morning or afternoon half-day options. You can also make it a full-day camp experience by signing up for both! 

All campers should bring water bottles and a nut-free snack. Full-day campers should also bring a nut-free lunch.

After-care is also available from 3:30-6:00PM if needed for $75/week.

Fair Cancellation Policy
Transfers between camps are allowed at no charge subject to availability.

If you cancel a camp registration, you will receive a credit voucher for the full amount paid, which can be fully transferable to family or friends and will never expire.
