From coding in Minecraft and Roblox to Robotics, building a website and learning Python - your kids will not be bored this spring break! Camps run from March 13-17. Kids are encouraged to sign up for multiple camps so they can explore different concepts. Several options are available!

MODDING WITH MINECRAFT®
Developed for experienced Minecraft® players, this camp teaches Ninjas how to make unique mods (modifications that change the game)! They will create their own custom tools, weapons, armor, enemies, and more! By the end of the camp, Ninjas will be able to export their mods for friends and family to explore at home using Minecraft® Java Edition.

OPERATION: CODE BREAKERS
Join us as we explore cryptology, practice creating and solving coded information, and create your very own escape room! Ninjas will learn different puzzle-creating techniques used throughout history and apply them to create secret messages. They will also learn to harness the power of computer programming using Microsoft MakeCode Arcade and micro:bit to write encryption and decryption programs that we will use to build an escape room mega-puzzle to play and share with fellow campers and friends.

CREATE AND COMPETE
Let’s create and compete in a tech-lovers' field day! Makey Makey extends beyond the screen and brings engineering and coding concepts to life in exciting new ways. In this camp, we will bring classic field day activities to the next level with coded circuit board creations. Using the Makey Makey, ninjas will learn how to build & code game tools including stopwatches, scoreboards, and more out of simple household materials like cardboard and foil. Ninjas will then create and compete in a series of fun, movement-based challenges with each other using their own inventions!

LEGO PYTHON ENGINEERS
Boost coding skills while learning and playing with friends in this crash course on the Python programming language – no previous coding experience required! Ninjas will follow along with the “Code this Game!” book to build a strategy action game from the ground up in Python. As they practice game design concepts like spawning and enemy AI, they will begin to see how computer code is behind all the games and programs we use daily. Code Senseis will then guide Ninjas as they modify the game to create their own unique versions.

INTRO TO ROBLOX DEVELOPMENT
In this hands-on, fully guided experience, Ninjas will learn the basics of game building and creative development in Roblox, an exciting, online gaming platform. Ninjas will spend their time building and exploring new worlds in Roblox before sharing their creations locally and globally. This camp will teach Ninjas how to plan, design, and build their own 3D world to create much more than just a game!

In-Center Camps
Code Ninjas in-center camps are great for beginners and experienced kids ages 7-14 with a mix of on-screen and off-screen learning and fun!

We follow strict safety and sanitation procedures. All attendees are expected to behave appropriately and treat all equipment with respect. Computer equipment and materials are sanitized before and after camp daily.

All campers should bring water-bottles and nut-free snacks. Full day campers should also bring a nut-free lunch.

Fair Cancellation Policy
Transfers between camps are allowed up to one week before the camp begins, at no charge. Subject to availability.

If you cancel a camp registration, you will receive a credit voucher for the full amount paid, Vouchers are valid through December 31, 2023.
